About Suzanne Myers Otto






















Suzanne Myers Otto was born and raised in Madison, WI. Suzanne
currently resides in Madison with her husband, Jim, and cat, Snickers.

Suzanne has been involved in artistic pursuits for many years!  An avid
seamstress, Suzanne took up quilting while still in junior high school.
Suzanne has a college background in related art.

With a particular love of quilted clothing, Suzanne enjoys presenting
trunk shows of her garments!  Suzanne has expanded her art repertoire
to include other fiber arts, fabric design, beading, mixed media,
and painting. Other interests include photography, gardening, nature, 
folk music, and travel.  Favorite destinations include both Denali and
Yellowstone National Parks. A relatively recent interest of Suzanne’s, 
is learning to play her tenor ukulele.

A veteran teacher at The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show, f/k/a Quilt Expo (Madison), Suzanne has 
taught workshops locally, and, on the national stage.  Patchwork Vests,
Beginning Seminole Patchwork, and Lace Stenciled Note Cards
are a few of her offerings.

Suzanne's work has been exhibited at Mancuso Quilt Shows, 
Hoffman Challenge Traveling Exhibits, Quilt Expo, the John Michael
Kohler Art Center, and other venues.  Publications include 
"Studios", "Altered Couture", and advertising brochures.
